Barada Barna Aboriginal Corporation’s nominated Cultural Heritage Body is Winnaa Pty Ltd, which employs over sixteen Barada Barna descendants to conduct cultural heritage surveys, clearances, and various other tasks.

With more than 20 mining, gas, and exploration tenements on our country, we are kept busy ensuring that these companies comply with the Cultural Heritage Act 2003.

Winnaa Pty Ltd provides Traditional Owner personnel to assist with the identification, clearance, and storage of cultural artefacts, ensuring they are handled with the utmost respect and care. The company also designs and constructs Cultural Gardens to preserve and display significant cultural artefacts, such as scar trees.

Additionally, Winnaa delivers Cultural Awareness training to organisations, fostering a deeper understanding and respect for Indigenous cultures, and offers tailored Cultural Capability Training Programs for corporate businesses to integrate cultural awareness into their operations.

Through these services, Winnaa aims to support the respectful preservation of cultural heritage, enabling businesses and communities to collaborate in protecting and celebrating our shared legacy.
